# Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp almond
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt (more if butter was unsalted)
  • 1 cup (½ pkg) white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts

# Instructions

  1. Cream the butter, sugars, almond, and vanilla.
  2. Beat in the eggs.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture.
  5. Cool the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  6. Scoop rounded spoonfuls of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Broil the cookies for for 2-3 minutes, until the tops are golden.
  8. Set the oven to 350° and bake the cookies for 7-9 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
