White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter softened
- ½ cup sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp almond
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2½ cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt (more if butter was unsalted)
- 1 cup (½ pkg) white chocolate chips
- 1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts

Instructions
- Cream the butter, sugars, almond, and vanilla.
- Beat in the eggs.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture.
- Cool the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Scoop rounded spoonfuls of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Broil the cookies for for 2-3 minutes, until the tops are golden.
- Set the oven to 350° and bake the cookies for 7-9 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
