Ingredients
- 4 sticks butter, straight from the fridge
- 4 cups flour
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups chopped pecans, toasted

Instructions
- Cut the butter into the flour using your hands.
- Mix in the powdered sugar.
- Add the vanilla and pecans.
- Roll the dough into balls the size of marbles. Smaller is better.
- Bake at 325° for 30 minutes, until just blushed. Do not overbake; they should not be golden.
- Let cool slightly, then roll them in powdered sugar.
- Let cool completely, then roll them in powdered sugar again.
- Store in an airtight container.
