Chocolate Chips

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2¼ cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt (more if butter was unsalted)
- 2 cups (1 package) chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions
- Cream the butter, sugars, and vanilla. Beat in the eggs.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture.
- Cool the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Scoop rounded spoonfuls of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Broil the cookies for for 2-3 minutes, until the tops are golden.
- Set the oven to 375° and bake the cookies for 6-8 minutes. Do not overbake.
